Hotel overview
Located on Hollestraße, this mid-range hotel offers practical accommodation steps from Essen's main train station. The area pulses with cultural life, anchored by the Museum Folkwang and a renowned theater designed by Alvar Aalto.
Rooms feature air conditioning and free Wi-Fi, catering well to leisure and business travelers alike. While the property lacks a restaurant, guests can explore numerous nearby dining options focused on German cuisine. Paid parking is available for those arriving by car, and pets are warmly welcomed.
Guests note that rooms are clean and comfortable though a bit dated, with some mentioning a slightly musty odor. Bathrooms are on the smaller side, emphasizing the hotel's straightforward, no-frills approach. The station view remains a draw for many visitors.

What travelers say
A snapshot of guest ratings and stories behind the stay.
“Great location for a nights stay close to the station, rooms are a little old and smell a bit musty but otherwise clean. Best selling point is the view of the train station in my opinion.”
“Very clean rooms. 5 min walk to the main train station. The bathroom is not so spacious.”
